Sobey's Deals -- PIRANHA 3D and PIRANHA 3DD for $7.99

Was at Sobeys (!) of all places and they have bargain DVD and bargain Blu bins.

All titles are $7.99, and a lot of the blu-bin titles were unremarkable.

However, I did find a two-pack of PIRANHA 3D and PIRANHA 3DD for $7.99.

I already own both of those, so it wasn't a deal for me, but for some others maybe.

YMMV because it was in the Blu-bins.

Did you notice if it's the version that also includes the movies in 2D as well?

The box at the store I saw had a big $7.99 on it's side and I suspect some of what you listed are titles I saw previously at Sobey's, going for $11.99, before this new batch.

Swang by local sobeys for tp and steak, managed to pick up a schwarzenneger collection (red heat, total recall and t2) plus the Haunted Anthology (insidious, others, last exorcism, 1408 and Blair witch) each for 9.99

The Royal Collection - The King's Speech, The Queen, The Young Victoria, Shakespeare in Love & Vanity Fair (make sure it is blu-ray version, a DVD version incorrectly had blu-ray on the sticker bar code.

While buying some groceries I asked a for price check on the Royal Collection and it did come up as $9.99 so $2 each film in the collection.

Just a heads up that I saw some BDs at one Freshco (part of the Sobey's chain) store, at $9.99 not exactly a great bargain but I did see Carry's Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas Grinchmas.

There were all xmas related BDs and were in a red box.

i seen some in the freezer section at one here.. most were used, some new titles, but some cheaper on Amazon... like Miracle on 34th Street.

I think the Sobeys on Brock Rd in Pickering by the LCBO used to have them. Not sure if they still do. Same with Ajax on Kingston Rd. Haven't been in a long time, so they may no longer have them. The selection was usually very average and not THAT cheap ($8-$10). It's the same stickers and similar selection to what I've seen at other grocery stores like Independent. Same with Canadian Tire as well.
