I really like the From Beyond transfer. I think you chose a good title to start your blu collection. Night of the Comet is one of my favorite releases from Scream Factory. I love the 80's vibe throughout the entire movie.

Did anyone else get a sale email from Shout Factory? It said that any order over $40.00 from now to Jan. 31st would qualify for purchasing an additional blu or dvd for $3.00. How much is shipping from Shout?

Just saw that the $3.00 item is from a pre-selected list and only two or three blus are on the list. I only saw the DVD version of Halloween III from the Scream Factory line. It's not that good of a sale for Scream stuff.

Deathrow Gameshow! Thats a forgotten gem. "Will he take the turkey or the woman" scene is still one of the funniest ever. Bud the CHUD is great also. I take it you were an 80's child like me.

Yeah, the only blu-rays that qualify are:
Dead Cert
Taylor Swift: Journey To Fearless
Kevin Smith: Too Fat For 40
Kurt Cobain: About A Son

They had a sale last week leading up to Christmas that was 10% plus free shipping on orders over $50, plus you get a free surprise DVD and a coupon for $10 off your next purchase.

I ended up with:
Crawlspace
Beast Within
Fear City
Night Of The Demons
+ poster

My surprise DVD was "Cozy Cracklin' Fireplace", but I thought it was a pretty excellent deal. Plan to use my $10 off code to get the limited poster for Sleepaway Camp or Ginger Snaps.

The video says more than those four qualify.

EDIT: Nevermind, they're DVDs.

Nope. Born in '97. A decade or two too late, if you ask me.

Hey, Shout!, why don’t you guys release Roger Corman's Frankenstein Unbound (1990), license it ASAP from the Fox catalog.

I would like this as well, however it may be currently with Anchor Bay through a deal (they released it this past September on DVD). The blu ray rights may still be up for grabs though.

Well, at least we have Scre4rm, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, and Slither (the only one I'm not being sarcastic about).

Didn't know we're getting Ginger Snaps and Dog Soldiers next year. Awesome!
Really tempted to get Sleepaway Camp and Phantom of the Paradise, too.

I am a fan of Brian de Palma (well, his 70s and 80s movies anyway) but I am definitely not a fan of stuff like Rocky Horror Picture Show. Should I avoid Phantom?
