A thriller is more psychological and suspenseful. Horror is more of the gore, being scary, blood, etc.

So with that definition of Thriller/Horror....all the Universal Monster movies are Thriller and not Horror???

Stoker has actual horror elements. Its got a lot of Supernatural characteristics and undertones.

The chick practically has Spidey senses. India sees, hears, and intercepts things that are impossible for others, even having what seems to be X-Ray vision at one point, when drawing the pattern from inside the vase. Its a horror movie, its even topped multiple horror best of lists, including Fangoria. The director describes it as a Supernatural horror movie as well. Its a horror movie, with dramatic elements.

And further more, I think Joy Ride is too.
