try the wishlist section or the DVD subforum. Start the conversation, others will jump in if it peaks their interest.

unrelated to Scream Factory, but
Warner Bros very quietly released the teaser trailer to their 2014 film Squirrels.

They picked it up at AMF this fall and the teaser above was a short that Warner liked enough to get the director on board to make a big budget film based on the teaser he created.
So, it should hit Theaters sometime next year. Looks pretty fun!

You really think all those Tyler Perry movies are "amazing projects"? Don't mean to bust your balls here, but come on man.

I agree though that Lionsgate has lost sight of what made them. Where's my special edition of "Leprechaun" anyway? Much like how New Line is the house Freddy built, I like to think Lionsgate is the house Leprechaun built.

Not so much Madea Goes Through Menopause, but definitely The Hunger Games. lol.

The Hunger Games is amazing, its not retarded (for lack of a better word) like a lot of teen crap. Thats because its not really teen at all. There's sum scurry sh!t going on in the Hunger Games, and it actually has a message, themeing, and social commentary.

I don't know how "special" it'll be, but I'd bet it gets released next year to coincide with Leprechaun: Origins, which, sadly, is real and supposedly completed already.

I would gladly buy Waxwork I and II on blu-ray. House (the 1986 film) would also be awesome as a Scream release.

I've seen Battle Royale at least 20 times.

My point being that its scary. Not every movie can combine dystopia and kids in peril so well, The Hunger Games is nearly perfect both films and the trilogy of books. The scary part mainly coming from the message, and the realism. I could see it happening in real life. That's frightening. Will it? Probably not. But the thought that it could, mixed with all the other things (charater development, etc) and it accomplishes its goal.

I stand by my statement that its an adult film.

Pardon the typos, I'm on my iphone.

There's literally NOTHING else to talk about. Until there's some new announcements expect conversations about stuff other than Shout Factory

I can think of 100 things more interesting and not beat to death in a nanosecond, but I guess with that kind of crack thinking they would all go over heads like a Matt Stairs home run ball.

Has anyone asked on Scream's Facebook if they will be using the same master for Cat People as the German release? No reason to think they wouldn't be, but I'd like to know whether I should be disappointed with the transfer in advance or not!

It was asked. They just replied saying they had whatever Universal in the U.S. supplied them with.

I reckon that Scream Factory is out of copies of Assault on Precinct 13, when buying direct? Says that it can't be added to my cart?

Anyone else encountered this issue today?

EDIT:

They were just updating the fact that the poster is now sold out. Fml. My favorite art too. lol.
Regardless, it's cheaper there, especially bundled with the rest of my junk.

You know what confuses me about Lionsgate? Dogma.
It was a Miramax production released through Lionsgate. That I get. But then the home video rights are with Sony. What a clusterfu<k...

"Why is it, that unless there's been a movie made about it....it's not important enough to remember?" favorite line of the movie....

Am I the only person who refuses to pay $20 dollars a piece for these releases? Even with their measly sales they never drop below $18. These are budget titles. Movies you can find on DVD used for $2. I presumed after October we'd see a MSRP drop. It didn't happen. It's sad because I'd like to purchase around 30 titles, but I refuse to pay more than $12.99 a disc. Halloween 3 shouldn't cost more than Halloween 1. Is anyone else patiently waiting for these to drop in price?

Agreed. I would try to explain but it always falls on deaf ears. I'll let someone else do it.

They are a specialty label and not the big name studios that refuse to release them.
