The problem is Golden and D'Onofrio are very close friends dating back to their Penn State days. I have a hard time seeing Golden get rid of him. In fact, when Golden hired him shortly after landing the Miami job he called him "one of the best defensive coaches in the country." His words, not mine.

Well, he needs to rethink that because D'onofrio stinks. Bobby Bowden fired his own son Jeff as the OC. D'onofrio needs to go and now.

The thing is we need to look no further than our own staff for a replacement for him. Michael Barrow has been an exceptional position coach for years, it's time he be given more responsibility. He can't do much worse.

The SEC Network (co-owned by ESPN and launching in August 2014) has hired Tim Tebow to be an analyst. He will also appear on other ESPN platforms and will make his debut January 6 during ESPN's coverage leading up to the national title game. Tebow will be an analyst for the SEC Network's pregame show, SEC Nation, a show similar to College Gameday that will take place each week on an SEC campus.

That would a shame if Texas gets smoked in Mack Brown last game. If might happen the Longhorns have not done too well against Dual Threat QB's this season.
