That is EXACTLY what I want to do. It's like when people when they buy a movie and it has both the theatrical and unrated versions. You want to watch them both so you later compare the two together and judge for yourself of which one was the better version. That what I would like to do with this game is play them both and compare the differences and afterwards decide which one I liked more.

*UPDATE*

Called up Gamestop today to talk them about something and found out that the Naruto Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 Full Burst release date has been changed to 10/22/13. This is the actual release date I stopped in GameStop today and they told me.

Went to gamestop the other day and discovered that the release date is 10/22/13. I asked them if that is the placeholder price or the actual date that is suppose to come out and they said that it is the real date.

Usually how well is the preorder item stocked at the gamestop store?

I remember buying Street Fighter IV, but they ran out of Ryu Headband or some other extras when I went on the released date.

I don't really want to order it online since I am afraid of the book being damaged from shipping and paying additional shipping cost. I would want to pick it up at the store but i probably can't go to store until end of the day and afraid all the preorder items will go out of stock like the Street Fighter.

Usually depends on the game, but I think if you go in the store the same day it comes out no matter what time, they should still at least have the pre-order bonus for this game. Though sometimes pre-order bonuses come with every single copy of the game for the 1st shipment copies like the original Naruto Shippuden Storm 3 with the Goku costume or how some games are packaged with the artbook in every 1st shipment copy.

I was planning on pre-ordering this but I will pass only because I don't have the other games and I would much rather pickup them first before jumping in with both feet and buying this one right away. I want to give myself a refresher course with other two games plus the newest Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

Plus, it is not worth pre-ordering just to get the artbook. It is not that important to me to have it. I will buy the game sooner or later and when that happens I am sure that it will be worth the wait.

Well Storm 1 might be kind of hard to find except for pre-owned copies. Most people dislike Generations. The non Naruto Shippuden games are like on PS2 and PSP.

That is all right. If I can find a Storm 1 for a cheap price pre-owned at GameStop or where ever than I will pick it up. The same goes for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and 3 and Generations.

Btw, why do most people dislike Generations? What was wrong with the game?

Well I know 1 thing is for sure, people disliked the whole having the story being Narrated instead of having a Free-Roam like all of the other Ultimate Ninja games. While it does basically give you an idea of the story, but it's like a choose a character for your story and then just tells the story for that character. Then you unlock other characters and play their stories. In a way, it just felt like a side game to gain some sales before Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 came out since you can tell Cyber Connect 2 didn't spend as much time and money making Generations and just falls short on what makes a Naruto Ultimate Ninja game.

From what you described, the game sounds a lot like Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 which was quite similar to this. I admit that got a little boring at times only being able to play a single character's story, before subsequently moving onto another one. The only thing that made it worth while was collecting the 7 Dragon Balls because afterwards you got to choose from among the following three choices that Shrenron had listed below. Which one I always choose was the Breakthrough which allowed that character to use all their signature moves/abilities.

As with MOONPHASE said, the reason why some people hated Generations (Myself included) was because of the story mode. That said, Generations does have one advantage over STORM 3. In Generations, everyone had 4 ground combos while in STORM 3 they removed one of them for no reason at all. I hated CC2 for that.

I saw this game tonight at Wal-Mart it had the trading card with Naruto in the Goku Costume. If it is still there the next time I get paid I may go up and buy it.
