Let's just cut to the chase, you people would buy Scary movie 50 if it was on a steelbook, and then find some rationalization why it was a good idea. Pajamas has a 55 on metacritic. A rabbi called the movie a profanation.

Let's cut to the real chase... 2000 people bought the steelbook. End of story. It's a dead end to try and justify people's motivations no matter what angle you take. Let it be, friend.

More than 2000 people bought Green Lantern. Look in the mirror and say that's a good movie

Here we go again.

Gannet has a pension for the dramatic when it comes to telling us all what we need to like, not like, to watch, to not watch. I'm just thankful that Gannet has ZERO influence over what gets produced as entertainment across the globe. If he did, I'm certain that it would be a scenario worse than an Orwellian dystopia!

It's good enough. I think Green Lantern is a better film than Man Of Steel... even though it's nowhere near being a "great" film. But, by your statement, yes. Green Lantern still falls within the classification of "good."

I think Gannet and Icemouth have to be related somehow.
1) They never have anything nice to say
2) They are constantly putting other people's posts down
3) They think the worold revolved around them
4) They are both certified Keyboard Warriors

At least Icemouth has some balls and will post his collection...hmmm Above the Law or Green Lantern...very close!
Yep, there's no such thing as the "perfect collection", except to that collection's owner!

I also got a mystery discount email and mine was for 15%. Ended up buying The Lone Ranger, Pan's Labyrinth, and The Descent.

I was going to get the descent with my code, but it only brought it down to around 14.95, so I'm hoping it will drop further during a larger sale since I usually pay 14.99 per title.

I haven't been terribly happy with Zavvi's steels - many of them are actually just metalpacks, very opaque-looking and flimsy. The best steelbooks IMO are the glossy ones, like Best Buy's SAFE HOUSE. And some of the films they've chosen to make steelbooks of are questionable, like Point Break. Quick question for Zavvi vets: why do they ship everything separately if you place an order for multiple steels? Just seems like a waste.

I got a 20% off code so I picked up 14 more steelbooks

I did get the new jumbo LOTR for 15.79 and descent for 13.42 and in the end, saved about 35 GBP and got a bunch I have been wanting including all the white ones for right at 7 GBP each.

Lucky, Last week I got a 15% and today it was 12%. If I got a 20% I would preorder a crap ton and get all the premium collection like you.

I was lucky enough to receive a 20% code. The only thing I really want currently is The Conjuring steel, and even with the code, it's a bit more than I want to spend since I already have the regular combo pack.

So, a little to gift to one of you:

5259-0F45-4903

Enjoy!

I have a sickness:

The Conjuring - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook £13.59
The Prestige - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook £7.99
Tenebrae - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook £11.99
Frozen 3D - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook (Disney #12) £19.99
Olympus Has Fallen - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook £11.19
Filth - Steelbook Edition £14.39
Oblivion - Limited Edition Steelbook £15.96
Team America: World Police - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook-Blu-ray £11.99
The Silence of the Lambs - Limited Edition Steelbook £8.76
Edward Scissorhands - Limited Edition Steelbook £8.76
The Descent - Limited Edition Steelbook £13.56
Byzantium - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook £10.39

Mystery Discount - 20% Off -£37.16
Total Delivery Cost: £0.99
Total: £149.55

I would have ordered more but the code didn't work on some pre-orders, like Rush; I also am showing some patience on a few Arrow steels (Body Snatchers, Big Trouble in Little China) that I think Arrow will eventually offer cheaper. The coupon was only supposed to work on the first 100 pounds, but it worked on all of it.
