Its FREAKIN AWESOME.

I'm trying to over hype it. But I finally checked out a subtitled version. Loved it.
Similar in synopsis to Night of the Comet, but there are plenty of differences.

I wouldn't be upset if there was another announcement really soon though.

But we've known about Dead Shadows since last year.

Hate to TRIPLE post, lol, but for us blu-ray folks, here's some good news regarding Troll III and the current DVD-only titles making the format leap:

I'd personally like The Outing, The Godsend, and Cellar Dwellar the most.

I think they should take some of the more popular DVD titles and put them into Triple Features.

And sad news on future DVD sets in the TV Terrors Line:

Their Blu-Rays are selling though, so it seems like making them all blu (unless completely impossible), while costly, would increase sales? no?

They were referring to Killer Party and Demons 6: The Black Cat.

I'd like to see them release The Lamp but I'm going to assume that was impossible otherwise they would have already instead of releasing The Outing (which is the butchered version of The Lamp).

It almost certainly does.

Hold on. This just hit me. Why, if they were really on the fence about these, did they not just make them quad packs?

I think the only reason we didn't get Blu-Rays for The Outing/The Lamp or Cellar Dweller was that there just weren't any suitable elements available. If elements turn up, I could definitely see those films getting the Blu-Ray upgrade.

That's too bad. I was hoping the initial offering would do better (I bought my copy), but I guess this wasn't an altogether unexpected result.

They just don't perform and that's why you see very few of them released. Warner Archives is releasing them and doing it that route keeps the costs associated with releasing them down. You only make them when someone orders one.

Most TV movies have never been re-transfered so they are on old tape formats and wouldn't look very good if they were released.

Three films on a singe disc? At an expected 420 - 450 minutes, that'd be a real tight fit and would probably result in an unsightly amount of compression artifacts.

Not necessarily on a single disc. Pull a Slumber Party Massacre Trilogy, 2 on one disc, third alone? Just a thought though.

Am I missing something (wouldn't be the first time)?

450 minutes equals 7 1/2 hours. So those three movies would each be 2 1/2 hours long.

But I have a short attention span so I watch shorter movies .

Nope, just poor math on my part. I should have said 240-270 minutes on one disc, assuming 3 80-90 minute movies.

It doesn't look like anyone other than Kevin Tenny has been announced for the signing as of yet, but I hope they get as many people as they can. I already pre-ordered my copies. I've never ordered from them before, so I hope they're cool. Has anyone here ever ordered from them? Lol. They're two of my favorite horror movies, I had to get them
I ordered the Crystal Lake Memories documentary from them, which was autographed by a number of people involved with both the doc and the Friday the 13th franchise. I was quite pleased with everything. I'll likely do the same with these.

I was reading that comment about Contamination 7 and it seemed like the comment was a possible revisit of that movie, I could be wrong. I happened to like the film and if that goes to blu ray and with Cellar Dweller getting a solo DVD release (there is no HD master for CD) I could see myself parting with the 4 movies and getting the two I liked separately
Isnt it what this quote is referring to ? or Demons 6 ? or Both or neither ?

Scream Factory Contamination 7 is a title we got in the early process of Scream Factory, long before we could get a gauge of most requested titles. Maybe something in the future will change with either titles.
