That picture is of the SC-07, the "Susano" is the SC-09 which is even more impressive

You are correct. The "Susano" is the flagship receiver, and it's an impressive piece of equip with a retail of approx $7K.

I know that the words are the same, but on some receivers "MASTER VOLUME" just looks a hell of a lot more impressive yes?

The SC09-TX is gorgeous and I'd take it over the Denon AVR-5308CI or the Yamaha RX-Z11 any day. But I think Pioneer also needs to come up with something that competes with Denon's AVP-A1HDCI/POA-A1HDCI combo.

Agreed. Surely anyone in the multi-kilo buck amplifier market would be looking at separates?
