You can't go wrong with ~1200 BD titles.. found quite a few good films (and ps3 games).. good collection 9.5/10.

Hmmmm. We seem to have very, very different tastes. There's a few dozen good films in there, but most of these are films I wouldn't touch... and not much variety, either. It's hard for me to put a score on this kind of collection, I've never gone there before.

This is tough, I don't want to be a jerk... is 5/10 too harsh? I won't make any suggestions to improve your collection, 'cause like I said, we have very different tastes, so I don't think my advice would be worth anything to you.

edit: On the bright side, I've seen collections of 1000+ BDs that were much worse, that I wouldn't even give a 3/10. So, you're not doing so bad, it's just that I believe that a scale of 1 to 10 is a scale of 1 to 10, not a scale of 7 to 10 with 1/10 reserved for aggression, like a lot people seem to do.

You, sir, get a 10/10. LOVE all of the Criterion's and boxed sets. Buncha great classics, too. Awesome collection and high-five.


To the person who rates mine, I've only been collecting for about a year. (P.S. It's addicting). Definitely need to get some older movies, as well.
