What if one has the code, but not the disc?

Windows or Mac makes a difference. You need to burn the file to a disc, or mount the file on a disc image.

As I understood it, if you have the code for a dc redemption, but not the disc, you can still use it if one has the xml file that was on the dc disc.

That's what I thought the original question was about.

Yes. And you need to burn that file to a blank disc or mount it. On Mac, that's a .dmg file. Not positive about options for Windows.

Forgot to check the thread after posting, thanks a lot for all the replies everybody .
One last question, once you get the XML file, how do you mount it as a dmg on a Mac?

Paste the xml code into Text Editor, then save as iTunesInfo.xml to a blank USB drive. Remove the USB drive, then reinsert it with iTunes open, and iTunes recognizes it as if you inserted the disc. It will automatically go to the redemption page for that movie.

Be sure you remove any quotation marks at the beginning and end of the xml code, as well as any double quotation marks.
