I think it's a feature on the player. Or was.
![]() Well what happened was I had replaced my Panasonic bluray 5.1 speakers with Klipsch speakers. When I bought the receiver, it had its own set of plug-ins for 5.1. So I connected the Klipsch speakers to the new receiver. This left nothing connected to my Panasonic blu'ray player. So I removed the speaker wires from the back of the Panasonic player. I then discovered by doing this, that the Panasonic would not play without speakers connected. I plugged the wires back in, without speakers connected to the wires, it worked again. I was unsure what to do so I left it alone as is. Then there was a spark from the bluray while watching a movie. The player died. Luckily there was enough juice left to open the bluray tray and rescue my movie. So now the player will not turn back on. I have a back up bluray player, but it does not play 3D movies, which I need. So now I must get a better 3D player. ![]() |
