Thanks Blu-Warrior! I'm not sure, but may have watched part of the Snakes show at a neighbors one stoned night

Was that the one where they had appliances on stage? I do recall that I was blown away by the PQ & AQ. I'll take your advise and get one of them soon, but really wish that there were earlier stuff available.

Rush has a great track record of concerts but I believe that if you don't yet own "Exit...Stage Left", you should start there. Rush, in 1981 was in their prime experimental phase, still like little boys pushing each other to come up with even more complicated things to play. And let's be honest, that's a huge part of Rush.

Geddy was also in full force vocally and could split atoms with his high shrieks then. Now I'm not saying they went downhill from there (though I do think that), but in all honesty, the real Rush genius "I couldn't give a f*ck about what they think" era was Rush's golden era with most of their rightly acclaimed masterpieces stemming from it. Rush is better served chronologically IMO

I (mostly) agree Pent. Actually, I don't own Exit yet. I always had a sentimental fondness for All The World's A Stage though, and even had Different Stages at one point. I remember getting that one mostly for the 3rd cd, but was kinda shocked at how Geddy's voice had changed so much. In many ways, the same happened to Steve Walsh (Kansas), but both have persevered over the years. Maybe my fave later Rush cd was Presto, but like so many other great bands, there's a multitude of choices to pick from. Is it safe to say that they are the best that Canada has/had to offer? I've always admired Triumph, not to mention Trooper or B.T.O. as well. Nonetheless, I've re-learned to appreciate Rush, and to be reminded as to how talented they really are/were. Does anyone have Rush-An Illustrated History? I have a similar book about Queen, and love it.
