I wondering how they can top Skyfall music and Skyfall villain. Seems to be impossible. Adel Skyfall is too good and Villain like Joker is too good. Who the heck will be next villain?

Also writer said that Bond 24 will be direct sequel(from Skyfall) and Bond 25 mostly too.

I'm not a fan of Adele at all and while the Skyfall tune was pretty good, I just don't get the appeal of her as a performer or her voice. I find performers like Gaga or P!nk to have much more soulful voices that would be better for a Bond theme song.

It would be interesting to see Lana Del Rey tackle the next Bond theme. Apparently, Daniel Craig has asked Adele to return, but I hope that's not the case. I'd much prefer it be one theme per artist. Shirley Bassey singing three of them = overkill.

I have read some of the Ian Fleming books but not the Blofeld ones. How is he portrayed in the books? He was portrayed very differently in the movies, You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, & Diamonds Are Forever.

He looks like Charles Grey, but acts ruthless like Donald Pleasance.

Duffy was also a fav of mine, but she kinda disappeared.

Skyfall on a whole as a bond film for me was greatly over rated.
Don't get me wrong its a great action movie, but Its not even in my top 5 bond films.

Unfortunately youll be getting the same Thomas Newman cookie cutter score for Bond 24 since he is Sam Mendes go to score composer.

Its a shame because I was really hopeful we would be getting David Arnold back for 24, he is the closest to J Barry in getting that classic James Bond movie score.

The fact that Barbara Brocolli insisted on using David Arnolds arrangement of the Bond Theme says its all.

I also felt that they should have brought back Dame Shirley Bassey to do the last Bond Title song as well, She quite simply is classic Bond, Skyfall was not a classic Bond theme (again to me) no matter how much people who are hit and miss viewers of the franchise might try to insist.

Still I enjoyed Skyfall and I am looking forward to the next film, I just hope that Bond 25 will see a new director and a return of David Arnold.

As for the villian don't be a bit surprise if we see a very welcome return of Ernst Stavro Blofeld

Now that the rights issues with the Mclury Estate have been resolved.
Its ashame that Ralph Fiennes is allready M cause he would have been the perfect 21st century Blofeld.

Skyfall was kinda joyless. I did like the new MoneyPenny though. New Q, not so much. Sadly, it made a billion so more the same is along the way.

Joyless? I guess you just of gone to the loo when they did the Austin Martin scene, or you arrived late to the spectacular opening scene, or the scene where the baddie and Bond have a battle of wits, or...well you get the jist. At the end of the day, it far more joyful than Quantum of Solace.

My god. Lana Del Rey Summertime is great but i really diden´t know that she made the great gatsby song. This is amazing.
Young and Beautiful song was more powerful in The Great Gatsby movie.

Lana Del Ray has an amazing voice but I'm not sure she is the right fit for Bond. I guess it depends on the actual song.

I wish they would be bring David Arnold back though. I was disappointed with the Skyfall soundtrack. It wasn't Bond enough. David Arnold gets what Bond is all about and is perfect. Thomas Newman although a good composer doesn't connect with Bond like Arnold did. I just think the soundtracks for CR and QoS were excellent.

Well David Arnold fit for Casino Royale because it had more tropical feeling, Bond got dirty meanwhile Skyfall was dark, cold and dramatic which was perfect for Thomas.
Well looking at Sam history, he makes cold and dark movies. If they make movie in tropical islands with bright tone then i want David, if it dark then Thomas.

Also, what i liked about Newman more is that he used more BOND THEME in movie than David did.
Same thing with Singer. It depends is movie dark or not.
Because Sam is director which means Thomas Newman(score) and Roger Deakins(movie look) are automaticly back
