Default Bourne Conspiracy

So, I don't know if this game sucks or not. There are things I like about it, but overall the fighting is way too "block and counter" and the "reflex" scenes make you start over if you fail and the load times are kind of long. The shooting kind of sucks, now that I'm to that part . . . blah. But still, there's something intriguing about it. The takedowns are kind of neat.

The demo is decently long. I'm actually starting to like it . . . definitely not a purchase, though.

I had to pause the download. I had Haze, Grid and Bourne in the download queue. It took forever for Haze and Grid to finish downloading so I gave up 23% in on the Bourne one (for now anyway). So, how's it look graphically? Just trying to determine I should let it continue or just cancel the demo (since it's fairly large as well).

It's not mind blowingly good, but the environments are good and the character models are decent. The driving part is lackluster, but that usually happens when driving missions are just a part of a beat 'em up.

I wish they'd just made a new 24 game. That could have been super good if they'd just eliminated one of the stupid minigame type stuff

and not penalized me for shooting Kim.

My biggest dissapointment was that Christian Kane won't be on the main show now, he was fantastic (and great on Angel)

The reloading of the levels got real annoying.
Overall the game is decent, I'll be giving it a rental.

ya... reminded me a lot of the game Indigo Prophecy. It's cool to interact with cutscenes but your window of oppurtunity is pretty small and if you miss it well game over and wait for the long load time. Game seems okay so far, not somthing i'd be willing to shell 50 $ for though.

I have yet to get past the darn gate coming down. The amount of time you have to push that damn button or game over is ridiculous. I highly doubt I will purchase this. Games that are that unforgiving are not fun for me.

personally I did not like the feel of the game, it was missing any charm, the character seemed not like borne, and the graphics left much to be desired. The controls worked but everything still felt clunky the fighting system left even more to be desired and there are one two many you make one mistake game overs, which reminds of a terrible choose your own adventure books.

I had a bad feeling about this game asspecially how reviewers were eating out of the devs hands calling many praises to this game, which just confirms to me how tasteless the reviewers were, I will have to give this game 1 thumb down, for this feels like a game I would have given a thumb down previous generation.

COOL over FUN. I've got no problems playing interactive movies like Shenmue, but somehow Bourne feels even less interactive than that.

Ive played some very interactive games in the past eoe being one of them, I just think the controls are too clunky, the character does not feel like the main character we have grown to appreciate.

Was the car sequence suppose to be difficult... anyway I like what the demo said drive the way only bourne can... am like yay keep telling yourself that.

The car controls were actually surprising sharp, but overhall it felt like a generic game based off a movie. Nothing special time to move on, I thought the models were a little rough including the main character perhaps my expectations are too high...

Finally got past the damn gate and ran into the same millisecond button press time on the sniper part. Took me like 5-6 times to get past that. Finished the demo finally. I think those context button things have gotten out of control since they started, I think, with GOW. They need to give you time to at least notice it's there, register what button it is, and press it. You SHOULD be able, theoretically, to get it on the first time if you pay attention. However, Bourne seems so fast that is made so you have to fail the first try or two, and then knowing it's coming, hope you press the correct button when it pops up. That is not fun, IMHO. I don't like games where you HAVE to screw up first to learn the pattern or whatever in order to proceed.

I agree coolness seems stressed over fun. A better balance of fun would've been nice.

This game was so annoying!! The controls are awful and the camera angle means you're always pushing the stick in the wrong direction. You need to keep hitting 'select' to figure out what to do next. And you're penalized if you fail to notice something in the micro-seconds that it appears on screen even though it is no where near enough time to read/comprehend what is being shown.

I loved the movies, but this game was a serious let down.

DELETE.

Overall I thought the demo was ok, it's not something I'm going to go buy on Release date. I may pick it up later after the price drops. It feels like movies, I didn’t' really have any problems with demo, I only had to restart the 2nd once. (I was hit by the train during a fight, I didn't know it was active. )
