I watched last week's episode last Wednesday night, but forgot to comment.
Pretty glaring continuity error with this and Chicago PD. This episode was filmed during winter weather. It was snowing quite noticeably as ^^^ pointed out. The Kelly Severide sister kidnapping storyline that ended the episode continued in Chicago PD and that episode it was clear and sunny with no snow. It was obvious that episode was shot during the Fall. Sophia Bush & the 2 patrol cops from PD even guest starred in this episode. I have to wonder how the writers linked the 2 episodes together when they were shot months apart. Or was bringing in Taylor Kinney in Chicago PD edited in later on? There were people commenting on both shows Facebook pages about the continuity errors. Weird that this is on hiatus for the Winter Olympics, but PD is new this week. |

I'm betting that NBC wishes they debuted CPD in the fall instead of Ironside. |

Awesome news. Renewed for a 3rd season. Honestly I'm surprised this show and Chicago PD aren't more popular on boards like this. Both are more character driven dramas than procedurals. |

It's interesting that they seem to be slacking off a bit on the character crossovers lately. Though I suppose with the discontinuity relative to production schedule versus airing schedule, they may have thought that once they got CPD established, there wasn't as much cause to. And they're saving up for the big crossover at the end of April. At any rate, I'm not surprised that both shows got renewed, but it's nice to see it made official. Regarding this week's episode, I was pleasantly surprised. From the trailer for it, specifically Casey's "That was the bravest thing I've ever seen", I was expecting that they were going to skate out of the whole screwing over Jones bit by killing her off. I'm happy that they decided instead to flip the bird to her old man. |

Hey,
Does anyone own the "Chicago Fire: Season 1" blu-ray set from the UK? I recently bought it and have been having issues. Disc 1 was fine but once I got to disc 2, episode 8, the episode froze about 4 and a half minutes in, and wouldn't play properly until about ten minutes in. I was curious as to whether any of you had experienced the same problem or if I was an isolated case, as I intend to complain to Universal about this. Thanks. Have you looked at comments at, say, Amazon UK to see if anyone of their customers bought the set and have problems? |

I heard that PD began production around September. So the Fall weather is definitely noticeable. Fire's episode from this past week was shot during the December Chicago winter. |
