Just watched "Temple Of Doom" on my Samsung HL56A650 /Comcast HD and was quite surprised also. Raider's not so good. Too bad no plans for Bluray.

Have an Oppo HDMI switcher I no longer need and is only 4 months old and like new and everything that came with it. if anyone is interested PM me.

Had the DVR record all 3 this evening.. looking forward to watching them next week.. They seem to look great, no streching or zooming.

Last Crusade looked pretty amazing in 1080i! those pesky commercials kept me fuming though.

when Belloq speaks at one point, there's a fly in the frame. The fly appears to be on Belloq's face but was apparently on the camera as it doesn't move like it's on his face. Nor does Belloq act like a man with a fly crawling on his face (especially since the fly appears to be on his lower lip before disappearing from the scene.
I saw that in the first run in theaters when I was a wee child. I've always figured Paul Freeman really did eat that fly without flinching, like a good actor should. Now I have to watch again more closely.

I was impressed with the quality when, in Raiders, Indy pulls the truck into the market to hide. Always thought that seemed quite the coincidence. But in HD, I could actually read the sign "Omar's Shop" over the top...which went right with the line earlier when Indy told Sallah to meet him at Omar's.

The joy of high definition...
