We don't care! We are having a weekend down London, with the best fans in the world. Will be a memory to treasure and we fully deserve it!
No one expects us to beat man city but then again, we haven't bought the league like they are doing.

its not shocking he makes sense the transfer period at this stage of the season is stupid but because arsene wenger says something he gets attacked.

If it was him signing Mata he wouldn't be saying anything about the January window, I seem to remember him doing a few dealings in January

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes Juan Mata's possible move from Chelsea to Manchester United lacks 'fairness'.

It is understood that the Spaniard will move to Old Trafford, with reports suggesting that the Blues have accepted a £40m offer from the Premier League champions.

However, Wenger believes it is unfair that Chelsea are selling Mata to United, particularly as the two clubs have played each other twice in the Premier League this season.

"I am surprised. Juan Mata is a great player and they sell a great player to a direct opponent," Wenger said.

"Chelsea have already played twice against Man United, they could have sold him last week.

"I think if you want to respect the fairness for everybody, this should not happen.

"I can understand completely what Chelsea are doing, and they do not make the rules, but maybe the rules should be a bit more adapted for fairness."

Arsenal, who are two points ahead of third-placed Chelsea, could face Mata when United travel to the Emirates on February 12

Wow,really?I had two days in Rome a few years back, got to see the Coliseum,Trevi Fountain,The Vatican and so on but we lost a Champions League final so it was crap,a waste of money and I wish I hadn't bothered going but hey, what do ya do?

He makes sense?no he doesn't,it wasn't that long ago you could buy a player in any given month,on any day at whatever time you wanted until the transfer window was introduced, so if he bought him next month but was still before we played them it would still be bad in his eyes,it's simply sour grapes!

It's the experience mate. London is 6-7 hours from sunderland. Other side of the country lol. It's the people that make these occasions.. Trust me, SAFC fans will make the most of it.

O no doubt and rightly so,it was just your "We don't care! We are having a weekend down London" comment, seem's like you were going away with your Mrs instead of a cup final.

Sunderland haven't been to Wembley for over 20 years lol. Criminal when you think we are 12th most successful team in English football history.

Yes, I see your point Villiam but these are the occasions you remember regardless of result. It's ok for the Liverpool's and Man Uniteds of the world, it's nothing new to them. Going with family so will make it special. If we lose we will still be proud and fly the flag. We are Sunderland and london won't know what's hit it!

This is the problem,Rooney could play up top but then where do you put van Persie,Utd have generally always played with one up front, maybe one in behind and two wide men so unless Mata is going to play on the wing there is a problem.

I don't want to see him out there as I think that is a waste,we will get more from him as an attacking midfielder but if he's there and Rooney and RvP are playing then there aren't going to be two wingers,we may have to change our set up.

Just a theory, but do you think the Mata signing is in part, bargaining power for when Rooney is asking for a bigger more lucrative contract? Man United have a replacement now (I know he is not really like for like) but do you get my point?
