From the ones that I know are being released this year (and not counting any I already own), I'd say Dark City or Signs for me.

OR

According to HDD, I Know What You Did Last Summer 1 & 2 are being released in July so they're a possibility as is Stargate: Continuum or maybe even Sony's release of Starship Troopers (if it ends up being better than the import).

Got my money on the following:

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (along with the other 3, whenever Spielberg and Lucas get to them)
Iron Man
The Dark Knight
The Incredible Hulk
Hellboy 2
Wanted
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Pineapple Express
Wall-E
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

And, of course, the eventual purchases of:

Batman Begins
V for Vendetta
Vantage Point
National Treasure 1 and 2

3:10 to Yuma is still one of the best BDs I own. There will be great movies released this year, but until then 3:10 is king.

The must-owned Blus of 2008 (for me anyways) are definitely Iron Man, Rambo, Transformers, and, if possible, The Fast and the Furious series

If we are talking a 2008 release, Zodiac is very impressive. Superb transfer and the supplementals are pretty fantastic.

Zodiac is on blu? How did I miss that one Special Agent Dale Cooper?
Love Lynch btw. Can't wait for something besides Dune to be released on blu.

I've seen Juno everyday since it was released, so I'm thinking that might be in the running.

Blades of Glory is guaranteed worn out in a week or two and we haven't even heard news about Iron Man yet.

We'll see.

That's tough. Right now in the running are V for Vendetta, There Will Be Blood, Gangs of New York, Batman Begins, and The Dark Knight. Of course if the Godfather comes out that'll be up there too. Up to this point I'd say my fave for the year is Across The Universe.

So far Chronicles of Narnia LW&W for me. Blu-ray should be out before Christmas for Prince Caspian (just my guess, but sounds like good marketing to me).
