The 25K might just be for that country....kind of like the Man of Steel tin and TDKR broken cowl set, each got different numbered quantitles in different countries.
Obviously this is a different studio, so that might not be the case.

Why, the studio is the same (Warner).

Oh man, what a botch on my part!
I was thinking New Line, I guess because, at the time, I was thinking about the EE dvds.

Well my botch aside, maybe Warner will treat this the same as those numbered releases I mentioned? I sure hope so, as I absolutely love collecting numbered special editions!

At least we know that this will most likely be released worldwide, rather than just being exclusive to one country. Warner goes buck-wild with releasing this collector's editions and I'm perfectly fine with that!

Yes indeed! That was the point I was trying to make before I botched the studios!
Now, hopefully WM releases a digibook to match the first film, and BB a steelbook!

If they keep showing awesome editions like the MediaMarket steelbook with Thorin, I could very well find myself buying this movie three times on release day haha.

This collector box look nice, but I will wait for the special collector for the three movies (in two years)
