I think it's about 60/40 in the positive about "Ginger Snaps" but it's just never been one for me, though there are loads of movies that i once didn't like but enjoy now. I will give it another go before it comes out and make my decision from there. "I Come in Peace" is a great movie, always liked that one. Early Dolph is always worth a watch and i like Brian Benben alot as i always watched Dream On when i was a lad, he was good in the "Deer Woman" episode of Masters of Horror also.

+1 used to love that show!! I enjoyed I Come In Peace also but didn't care for Ginger Snaps at all (though I saw it once many, many years ago...)

It's been years since I've seen Ginger Snaps but I really like the art. Will love having a poster of it.

Yeah... because Scream Factory denial of titles has been reliable in the past, right? [Night of the Demons and Halloween II would like a word with anyone who thinks so]

I've actually never seen it. Maybe I'll pick it up after reading some reviews. Great artwork, I hope they get the same artist to illustrate a second Vincent Price set!

Let's hope this is the case for these titles and others! I know they have said no to the Count Yorga films in the past, but I'm hoping that changes as well.

Trust me. You should watch it first, as there is no middle ground; you either love it or hate it. It's on YouTube.

I never got the hate for Ginger Snaps. It's so much fun and well written, well acted, well made all together. And is gorgeously shot in the ugliest way.

Then again, I utterly despise Dog Soldiers... So, maybe it's just that they are polar opposites in the "werewolf" genre. Ginger is just the type I tend to gravitate more towards.

I'm on the fence about Dog Soldiers, I've seen it 3 times now and still can't make up my mind.

Several New titles must be coming soon if they're releasing this many covers at once. All that's left is Lake Placid, Phantom and Nightbreed. Fly II please.

I have a good feeling about The Final Terror. I just hope it's not one of those titles stuck with Lionsgate since it was a Vestron release.

Why, oh why, does Lionsgate not just sell off the Vestron catalog to the highest bidder? At least, then, they'd be out and Lionsgate would get some cash for it.

Ginger Snaps artwork is great. This is a definite purchase along with Dog Soldiers. Two of my all-time favorite werewolf flicks.

Oh, and I agree about I Come in Peace. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you check it out asap. Easily one of Dolph's best movies. It's too bad Shout can't also get the rights to Showdown in Little Tokyo and The Punisher.

I hope you are right! I'm hoping more than anything that the rights are with the Arkoff estate.

I haven't seen Ginger Snaps since it came out, but I remember liking it. I will probably find a copy on some format and give it a rewatch before buying it though as many of my tastes have changed since I was a teen. Nice artwork too

I'm too conflicted on "Ginger Snaps" and "Dog Soldiers" to determine whether or not I'm buying them at this point. The completest in me is torn.

But, on a more positive note "Cat People" has to be the most satisfying blind-buy I've made in awhile. Obviously, in terms of strictly the film itself, the extras are sub-par compared to the work Universal put in for this film in terms of bonus material. The picture quality isn't anything to write home about either, but I enjoyed the film so much I could look past and forgive all the glaring flaws.

Really loved the casting, a young John Heard really was great to watch and definitely got that role I believe because he did have a bit of sex appeal that Schrader was going for in this picture. The opening scenes we're almost hypnotic to me, fantastic film-making.

Paul Schrader's career seems to have went down to drain as time went on. Obviously in the beginning the guy was incredible working on projects like "Raging Bull", "Taxi Driver", "Rolling Thunder", this film, and "The Last Temptation of Christ." But, his career behind the camera directing seems to be hit and miss. Probably more misses than hits. I think "Cat People" and "Auto Focus" are great flicks. Sooner or later I'm going to get around to seeing "American Gigolo" and "Light Sleeper" eventually.

I don't know how his take on that latest incarnation of "The Exorcist" prequel is, so I can't speak on that, but since I'm somewhat of a Bret Easton Ellis fanatic I did see his latest film starring Lindsay Lohan and male porn star James Deen and take my word for it, this is terrible. But, with any bad movie getting bad press there was apparently some on or off set disputes about the tone of the film or something.

Anyway, back to why I even posted to begin with, I love this version of "Cat People", not only is it a fantastic movie, but it also gave us a really great David Bowie track.

I say screw being a completest, be a man of integrity of your own tastes. Get the ones that you like and love and leave the rest for others. That is what I do. For instance, I only own Friday the 13th Part 1 - 4 on blu-ray, and for me that is where the story ends. I really dig Scream Factory - amazing company -but I don't buy everything they put out.
