It is very entertaining mixed genre movie - adventure/horror/comedy. An original Viy story retold in new hyperactive style. Some scenes of the movie is real spooky, some scenes makes me laugh. It is evident that some scenes inspired by (or borrowed from) the movies such as Sleepy Hollow and From Dusk Till Dawn. So what? I believe that's good inspiration. I had lot of fun watching this.
