It's true, there aren't that many good movies coming out soon (although V comes out soon). They still have to worry about AppleTV (who actually partnered with HBO and released Rome today).

They're just trying to crank some sales out of titles that are no longer selling on DVD. If they went straight to the good stuff, people's home video budget would go to that, and then they would never get any revenue out of their weaker old catalogue. It sucks.

I haven't really been excited over any of the releases since early January. However, I'm pretty dang pumped about the release of V and Rambo in the next two weeks!!!!!!!!!

Braveheart and Gladiator aren't too high on my list, but I'd probably pick them up once on sale. Godfather films would of course be a pre-order, but they keep releasing films, and I say "man, I bet that'll look GREAT on Blu, or Sound GREAT on Blu" and they're titles I haven't thought of...... I think the releases are great, but that's just me.

i've been impressed by a lot of releases thus far this year and I'm a huge fan of arnold so predator and commando were especially a treat for me. i think some better movies will be coming out soon though. I can't wait for shawshank and batman begins of course
