Best buy never had a listing for 3D version of frozen and Thor was listed same exact way "pre-sell" and 8 digit sku than was updated 2-3 times.

No problem. Guess I have become a big steelbook sucker in last 5 months. I keep on looking new steels on US sites frequently specially since Bestbuy announced thor 2 and hunger games

Good idea for a thread. I started seriously collecting steelbooks late last year (already had a handful of 'em, though). Other than different threads in the steelbook section there really wasn't any one place to look up info on US releases. I'm really hoping this packaging style catches on here and it won't just be a few reissues every now and then. I still believe US studios are treating steelbooks like a gimmick and not taking it seriously. For now it seems like I'm going to have to keep importing since some of the best-looking steels come from Europe. Just got the French Riddick steelbook in the mail - it's badass.

I would love to see steelbooks for the 10 Star Trek films using the original poster art. Some of the art is awesome and would be sweet.

I just recently started collecting steelbooks and love them. Subed to this thread. Looks like I will be getting Thor the Dark World and Prob Both Hunger Games Films. Did you guys like Enders Game? I never saw it.

Ugh, the U.S. produces the ugliest steelbooks. Sucks for us that we have to import to get the cool ones since it means higher costs but oh well, what can you do?

So I noticed that The Hunger Game films are coming out in Steelbook form on a Friday. I thought all new releases come out on Tuesdays.
