As far as I know, all of the fake conversions have come from the company Bit Wel. Looking at details here on the site, Disney's releasing partner in Taiwan is Deltamac Co. Ltd. and that is who is listed as offering Incredibles 3D, so hopefully this will prove to be a legitimate 3D release.

Pixar had announced they would be re-rendering all their films in 3D when they were re-cataloguing them, so it's very likely to be Pixar's re-render, not a fake conversion job.

We all know the assets are there, but it seems odd to me that Taiwan (of all countries in Asia) is the first to release this. I sure hope you are right.

Anyone remember the onslaught of 3D Pixar steelbooks that were listed in Germany a few years back, that later turned out to be 2D blus?

Wow, the Taiwan version! I hope it's REAL!

(Now, if it was any other country, I'd be spinning theories of Pixar rendering one more catalog 3D, to fill in their void this year and give Disney something to accompany a later Frozen 3D dip...
But they lost me at "YesAsia".)

I think Incedibles may be the one Pixar title best suited for 3D re-rendering. Already when watching it on DVD in the good ... errr .... bad old days I thought it pretty much screams for 3D.

I'm not getting my hopes up this is one is legit, though. With release only a month away, I'm pretty sure it would have been announced elsewhere if it was the real deal.

I've never had a problem with yesasia. I ordered this, so I will let everyone know if it is real or not when I receive it. I will then sell it if a US copy is announced. But I would love to see this in 3D as soon as possible.

Same here. Purchased and imported Sammy's Adventures (Hong Kong Version) Region A with no problems.

The Incredibles (Taiwan Version) 2-Disc BD + Blu-ray 3D would also be guaranteed as Region A; the same region as the U.S.

I ordered both Sammy movies from them and had no issues.

So looking forward to a 3D version of this, The incredibles, along with megamind are two of my favorite "animated" movies.

It's not the STORE I have problems with.

It's the country.

("Why? Is it some human rights objection?" Go ahead, somebody ask it. )

OH wow soo those copies of Rope 3D and Dr. No 3D and Troublle with Harry 3D and a few others on ebay are legit then?

I thought it was a bootleg scam or something.

They are "legitimate" as in they aren't technically bootlegs, but they are cheap 3D conversions from what I have heard. I was curious about them too at one time but you could always just turn on a 2D to 3D converter to get basically the same results if you wanted.

As for the release of The Incredibles, I guess it won't arrive yet. I wonder if plans were changed and it was originally going to be the launch of the 3D release. Who knows. In any case, I am surprised it's not on 3D Blu-ray yet. Neither is Ratatouille. It makes me wonder if Brad Bird isn't a fan of 3D (as that might actually explain why Disney hasn't released them on 3D Blu-ray yet when virtually everything else has been).
