It doesn't fit. Steelbooks are wider than the slim-case Disney releases.

Why would you cover the steel with a slipcover though?

Hmm all my preorders where cancelled because I didn't put money on my card in time lol.

Oh well...tired of Zavvi anyway and their crazy early games.

First of all, there are ALOT of steelbooks with slips...
Secondly, I like the slip artwork better and having a cool hybrid would have been fun...

No doubt. All my KimchiDVD exclusive steelbooks with slipcovers look great. Double the artwork, IMO.
I just don't see it working though as most, wide release, slipcovers are too narrow to fit a steelbook...successfully.

Very nice effort this one. Very bright and deep colours. Matte with embossed title. It's very difficult to capture the light embossing here.

Nice pics!
I´m still waiting for mine, but don´t expect it until late next week.
Can you upload a picture of the back with the slipcover as well?
Please also Dumbo and Lady and the Tramp back with the slipcovers back.

Thanks!

For my own BD database I would like the EAN and other info for each of these three.

The despatch mail from Zavvi said "On or before 18th February".
Hopefully I will have the three friday next week.

no chance
the US slips are thinner than the UK ones and the UK slips wont even go over a standard steel. Any steels with slips are usually custom made FOR that steel, and are therefore that bit wider so as to fit.

I'm 99% sure of what the answer will be, but is this the previously released UK disc or the later released US disc?

UK - Peter Pan

Didnt turn out too badly to be honest. Embossed it a little on the thin side. No stupid embossing, alot plainer and simpler.

My copy arrived today, and I was a little distraught when I saw the box was:
A) Open
B) had one corner crushed

Not a problem, as the steelbook looks beyond Minty-mint(if that's even possible ). I know not everyone is crazy about these Disney steels, but I love them! They look, absolutely, fabulous!

Forgot I had this ordered along with the other Disney Steels, don't need it as I already have the DigiBook version. So am selling at cost (£19.99) and will include free shipping (to the UK)! Think I'm past the date to return to Zavvi. PM me if interested.

Have a copy of this which I'm selling, letting it go for £13 shipped (within UK), currently retailing for £19.99 on Zavvi. Brand new and sealed, PM me.
