In 2013, the influential French magazine Cahiers du Cinema, which once had amongst its writers such legendary directors as Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette, and Francois Truffaut, selected You and the Night as one of its Top 10 films. (You can see the complete list here).

Synopsis: Around midnight, a young couple and their transvestite maid prepare for an orgy. Their guests will be The Slut, The Star, The Stud and The Teen. Soundtrack courtesy of Anthony Gonzalez and M83 (Oblivion).

Hi Bullseye,

I only received the press book and there are no details there. But I plan to purchase this release around street date, so if I don't get a final press sheet I will simply post the specs here when the disc arrives

If it is English-friendly, we will have an official review.

That would be great. I emailed the distributor and they said it would not have English subtitles.
But this was about 3-4 weeks ago....

I can confirm that the disc only has French SDH.

No english subtitles.

Watched this the other night and absolutely LOVED it!

Wish there was an english friendly Blu released somewhere though as US and UK both only got dvd.

Might have to just weaken and get the 1080p version on iTunes as it doesn't look like anywhere is going to get the Blu.
