The 3D wasn't good in the movie theater. It was annoying sometimes.
I find watching it in 2D a better experience for me.

Haha! But my Iron Man BD will look odd without the slipcover. I tossed my Star Trek 09 slipcover a few years ago and now it's just a weird cover of Chris Pine modeling in the dark. Similar cover on Iron Man.

I started keeping some slipcovers lately. I don't really understand the appeal of them, but what difference does that make haha

Personally I thought the 3D was a bit distracting and pointless, but I'm buying the Target Loki cover so it'll be included anyway. I just finally got around to getting a 3D player and glasses so at least it's one more title I can watch it in.

I'm definitely getting the Target...but will sell the 3D...it just didn't add anything for me either in the theater and was a bit distracting.

I have all the other MCU 3D editions but I think I will pass on this one. Didn't see it in 3D in the theaters but all that I see of it was that it wasn't that good. I'll put the extra $8 or so towards something else.

We don't know yet, but I hope Wal-Mart comes through with a good price. They had the best price on Iron Man 3 back in September. My hope is that since they're both Marvel Studios releases, the pricing will be similar.

Well I was given a $25 amazon gift card so I preordered the single disc 2D version. I care not for slipcovers or 3D so as long as it has the same movie and the short, Im good

All my phase 1 MCU are there standard 2D editions from the avengers forward I'm buying all 3D versions for phase 2-3 just to future proof my collection for when I get around to a 3D tv purchase...not to mention I love slipcovers and the lithograph for these are beautiful...even tho ironman3 didn't have one it was still a very nice slip!!

I just saw the target exclusive cover and even though it looks cool, I'm not sure it represents the movie well. It is Thor the dark world after all, not Loki the dark world.
I think I like the standard 3D cover best.

It's very fitting though. Loki steals the spotlight in every scene he's in.

Plus the army of Hiddleston fanboys and fangirls will eat that cover up. Potentially literally.
