I'm disappointed by the lack of black spine and it's sad that that sort of thing means anything to me but, despite stuff like that and having everything in alphabetical groups and sections and a very specifically organised collection, I'm far from being an OCD sufferer.
It was a joke, hence the smiley at the end if my post. Sorry if I caused you any offence. As it happens I'm fully aware of what being OCD actually means. My brother in law suffers from it. We never ask him to borrow a CD (sorry, that was another joke)

No offence taken - as I say, I don't suffer from it, though I know someone who does - and I guessed yours was a light-hearted mention of it. Wasn't sure if you classed yourself as having it but, either way, your post was nothing more than just the unlucky one that tipped me into mentioning it after seeing so many on these forums discussing their "OCD" over slipcovers or order of blu-rays or whatnot. As I say, it certainly wasn't aimed at your personally

Well I do suffer from OCD and I wasn't offended. I am a lot better these days, though. There was that Jon Richardson show a few months back that was called (funnily enough) "a little bit OCD". He reckoned that a lot of people have certain symptoms of obsessive compulsive behaviour, but it only really becomes a disorder when it's having an impact on your quality of life.

Just my thoughts. Carry on!

Everyone has it in some form, I believe. Maybe not sleeves, slipcovers, steelbooks, or even media related, but they will have something that they obsess over.

I'll freely admit to almost being driven mad by televisions, before the first LCD TVs came out and didn't have to worry about geometry issues any more. Of coarse I then had to worry about backlight clouding, smearing and other lovely teething issues, but at least my picture was straight lol

The packaging is a thin card sleeve that slides over a sturdy black box with gold lettering. Inside the box are three Amaray cases with the same artwork as the individual releases.

Courier has also delivered mine from Amazon. A very nice surprise as I've never had an early pre-order from Amazon. Now I just need to finish rewatching season 2.

Lol I'm the opposite as I'd rather digipacks. Although probably looks great in hand like The Lord of the rings extented boxset.

I've still had no dispatch email from tescos so probably won't be sent out until Monday. I've yet to see game of thrones but with new customer tesco discount that was available when I ordered I got the set for £45.

You still might receive the Blu tomorrow. I usually get the dispatch email from Tesco on the same day or after the delivery has arrived.

It seems like they think the sex in previous seasons is more offensive than the violence in this one (and this season actually seemed to cut back on the sex).
I thought the torture scenes were over the top. The actor doing the torturing was too modern in his actions and dialogue, it kind of threw me out of the fantasy-world. He just came across as a modern psycho movies are littered with these days.

There are a few points which I thought would push this into 18 rating but I can't remember the characters names. I've been away from Game of Thrones too long!

Dispatched from Amazon.

Hilariously, I'll probably not get it until next week, even though I had it sent via the One Day delivery option.

Stupid Northern Ireland, lol

Rixx, nice there is still hope then.

Wow Spiderwalk, pics look great. Embossed sleeve, grand box and I'm surprised I like the amarays.

I can't wait to see this

Edit:

With them being amarays I'm thinking of adding different artwork. Perhaps different front & spine in the style of the limitied US slipcovers. I just seen there is 4 in the past:stark, lannister, greyjoy & targaryen- which will be best for each season? I'm guessing dragon one will be best for S3 since is has dragon on the front?

There are also these 2 from Australia

or you could do a custom cover and choose 1 of the 3 that lost out in the vote for the Season 3 covers
