Just wanted to thank you man! Alot! I read your panny trick and thought "hell! Why not try that on my Panny home theater in a box" I have a 3d home theater surround sound deal and while that didn't work after about 10 tries I tried 0 instead of one and it works on my region b locked blus. Thanks now I have 2 region free players!

Edit: Not working on all movies though. I tried 3 and it worked on 2. Ali (german) will not work.

This movie was INCREDIBLE! Really loved it! Ron Howard really does have a knack for making true life dramas gripping. So glad i took the dive and got this

I'm very surprised this is still in stock, I guess most already have it or they have the Kimchi steel and don't want it.

I'm very tempted though, I've always liked the basic design and colors.

It's not remained in stock. Has been sold out for ages. It seems though Zavvi have found a few more copies in the back of their warehouse and have just relisted them on their Steelbook offers page in the last day.
Hence my post saying dive in now if you want it.

I didn't mean since it was originally released.

I simply meant since they put it back up for sale for Black Friday. I didn't expect it to last a few hours, let alone days. Army of Darkness and The Lone Ranger both sold out really fast when the Black Friday sale started. They must have a lot of Rush steels somehow, or what I said in my earlier post is true.

I was going to jump at one, but I have the nice UK lenti slip and decided not too.

I never understood why this sold out so quickly. If as cudzndrips said there were 800 copies available from Planet DVD and then zavvi starts selling stock they've 'found' it goes some way to explaining why it sold out so fast; what I don't understand is how a significant percentage of stock can be 'mislaid'.

I can see how the appeal of the steelbook might plummet if your rare OOP is suddenly easily available again.

However, that said, it's a nice steelbook and if you don't have it you should get it! Don't complain when it sells out again...

The only thing that saves the Kimchi version is the packaging (slip, art cards, numbered card, book). The steelbook is a brown thing with dull dark inside art.
