Not as bad as the people that ordered probably 3 or 4. And I know that some people do it. They use them for trade bait.
2 is ok in my eyes. I mean 1 is probably for them and the other for trade. I usually only get one of a SB unless I'm getting it for my lazy friend that never imports anything.

Will probably get relisted a few days before release date, as people cancel and some orders get declined for payment problems.

I hope so as a few hours away from the Internet and I have missed this one. Mind you Zavvi have always relisted after being sold out at least once.

Dick Tracy had been "sold out" for months and then in September it appeared again and now (6 months afterwards) it's still in stock!!
I'm beginning to think that these "sold out" statements are false and are trying to raise demand for the product!

I mean what about Dick Tracy? Suddenly hundreds of people cancelled their pre-orders?

Yes I believe that was the case with Dick Tracy. When it first announced, I imagine many pre-ordered. Then more and more titles were being announced and people were struggling to cope with all the titles they wanted and Dick Tracy was the first pre-order to be binned. It's not the most popular film ever and I know I only pre-ordered because it was a Disney Steelbook and I thought it would look really good (of course it didn't turn out that way).

This release is not the same as standard print run 4000 limited releases

Stargate is Limited to 2000 Copies

Any bulk orders will be cancelled as usual by zavvi and will be back available soon
They also may cancel any orders placed were quantity above 5 placed as per terms and condition of sale
All Large Bulk orders on a 2000 print run Zavvi will cancel and have done with all previous 2000 print run releases

Also as usual declined credit cards and customer cancelling there order will be back for sale just before release date or few days after

I LOVE this steelbook!
It's quite elegant and simple!

I was gonna buy Stargate too, but on 2nd thought I don't like the back cover at all..

The Dick Tracy one had a long lead-time in between becoming available for pre-order and actually being released. Wouldn't surprise me if a fair few people didn't cancel in the meantime.

Just stay tuned to this thread, as some eagle-eyed poster will comment when it becomes available again.

I didn't know Zavvi automatically cancels large orders of the same item. Very good for them! What is the cutoff? 5, or less?

That is why I will be keeping an eye one TWBB closer to release date.

7th of April! Damn! Just so happens to be the day I get back from Chevron 8.1 (UK Stargate convention)
Luckily no one from the film is going (yet) otherwise that would be really annoy me. Would love to get this signed.
