I don't trust this review for time-being.

I had the U.K version of Next on Blu-ray which is VC-1 encoded and features DTS-HD HR @2 Mbps. The PQ was easily demo material besides few Jaggies (

) in couple of scenes. The SQ was excellent with terrific deep bass.

I've only seen this movie in theaters, but it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

This is a very poor movie. Anyways... I am sure some are looking foward to it.

The mind can wander wherever it want's as long as said towel gets wrapped around Jessica Beil, or someone with equal hotness, no fat chicks.

Didn't see an actual rating so I copied and pasted part of their video review section and the conclusion. They use the same HD DVD review and make changes accordingly.

I guess i was one of the rare people who liked the movie

i like to be surprised. And the end definitely surprised me

definitely a buy for me

An enjoyable enough popcorn flick, check your brain at the door and have fun (kinda like Deja Vu). I think I'll sell my DVD and make the BD upgrade.

Yeah I never understood why this movie got so much hate. I mean I am not claiming it is an amazing movie and I find it weird seeing Nic Cage playing the love interest to a girl half his age but it was an enjoyable watch even though confusing at points but I never got bored uninterested. I guess it is just popular bash on Nic Cage these days.

It's definitely not the greatest movie of all time and, honestly, it's a bit cheesy. That said, I can't help but like it. Like everyone else has said, it's the kind of movie that's best taken at face value and one where you don't put too much thought into it. I bought the UK version a few months ago (my dad told me he loved it) and it looks pretty good and sounds pretty good, as well. It's definitely not for everyone, so rent it first. The strange thing was that my wife actually liked it; I have no idea why.
