Are you suggesting Amazon UK increase it's prices? I think myself and a few others on the UK forum might have something to say about that...

Haha, and some of us in the US as well. I buy most of my big box sets from Amazon UK - not only do I often spend a fraction of the price of the US releases, but I also greatly prefer their packaging. UK releases don't take a big, important, pricey box set and then stick all the discs flat against cardboard for a the sake of a slightly slicker looking package. Star Wars, Indy, Alien Anthology - I bought all UK editions. The Friends one was great, as well - instead of an oddly large, shelf-taking-over box, it came in an awesome slick box with magnetic enclosure with real Blu-ray cases inside, fitting the whole series into the size of three paperback books, instead of the size of a coffee table one.

The ratings labels on the big box sets generally aren't that obtrusive, and I find that actually they make great conversation pieces as well. I don't mind them at all - I think they are kind of kitchy. Even if I did, though, considering I often pay 40-50% less on release day for the sets, plus I prefer the packaging - it's a wonderful deal all around. I pay even less than folks in the UK, since they also nicely take that VAT right off the top so I pay less than the advertised price. Can't think of a better case of win-win-win.
