Because it's the sole Universal release. Although the line is referring to Marvel, Disney doesn't want to promote films that aren't under their ownership. The most recent films were Disney, and the Paramount films' distribution were bought out by Disney, so they don't mind name-dropping them.

They can't outright ignore Incredible Hulk. It has Tony Stark in it, played by RDJ.

They're not ignoring it. The reason it's not mentioned was noted above your post.

I thought TIH is under their ownership? They did end up releasing it with the Phase I collection.

They made some kind of co-op agreement to market them together, but they don't own it.

They own the character, just not the distribution rights for solo films apparently.

I'd really like to know how much Vin Diesel is getting paid for this "I am Groot" gig.

Him and Cooper have to be the highest paid of the group.

I heard that the 'I Am Groot' line is really only thing that Groot says in Guardians of the Galaxy. Is that true that he's only going to say that ?

If they stay true to the books, then yes. Many became curious if they would though when they hired such a high profile actor.

Oh, I see. They probably do stay true to the comic books in the movie. Yeah, I was curious as well if they would have him say more then one line, considering that a high profile actor is playing the role as Groot.

It's not that he only has one line, it's that whenever he talks, that's all he says. So he may have 30 lines in the film, they're just all the same line.

And hearing him convey different emotions when saying it is going to be funny

That's the only line you'll actually hear him say on screen. In the comic books it's stated that due to his growth and current size his acoustic organs became stiff inflexible thus mumbling all his speech to a single phrase. He's actually saying a lot of things, but due to the limitations he can only blurt out "I Am Groot."

Though I think the other Guardians were actually able to understand what he's really saying, but I haven't followed the series that much so I'll have to read some of the material before the movie is released.

I wish they made an alternate poster where Star Lord is wearing that bad ass helmet.
