On further investigation, it seems that the hole isn't the problem; it's the size of the prong.

My Water Horse has a bigger prong than others. Mrs. Doubtfire's hole slips around the prong and barely makes contact. I'm concerned that my BDs might get damaged if they slip off of a small prong, then flop around in the case.

The prong should be "one size fits all." Perhaps some case manufacturers have loosened their specification on prongs size. Or perhaps it's the diverse range of prong configurations that is causing the extra tightness or extra looseness of the hole.

In any event, I will be very careful when mounting the tight holes back onto the bigger prongs. As for the smaller prongs, the loose holes might become a problem. I certainly do not want my discs to get scratched because they slip off of the smaller prong and shuffle around in the case.
