I saw the same show you did, great first half of the show especially. I have the concert of this on CD-I am sure on Bluray it will look great.

I saw part of his concert a few years back when it was still the RBC Center. I was employed as a parking attendant there when I was in college, so unfortunately I didn't get see the whole show.

This time I was able to enjoy the entire show from beginning to end. There are obviously some songs I wish he would have played and didn't (most notably "New York State of Mind"), but with such a large library of songs there were bound to be several classics that had to be cut.

If I ever get the chance, I'd love to see him play in the Garden.

He just did a show in Detroit that must have had almost 10 more songs than this blu. Better set-list and FAR longer performance and he's like a quarter of a century older.

I'd love some vintage Joel, but this is disappointing when it's not even CLOSE to as good as the shows he's doing now.

I never owned or saw the original broadcast of this concert, so maybe someone with more knowledge of it can chime in on whether the whole concert was initially broadcast or released on home media?

Like Live Aid there may simply be missing footage or maybe only certain segments were filmed to begin with? I looked at the set list for the blu last night and thought it was a little short myself.

Will pre-order this but I wish Legacy would release more like the 1984 Wembley concert, or 1982 Nassau concert in full.

I wonder if the documentary will include the footage of Billy getting pissed off about the lighting of the audience and him angrily flipping over his keyboard.

Looks like you have to buy the deluxe version to get all of the bonus features. Doesn't matter to me because I was going to get it anyway but...fyi.

The only downside to this set is the CD sleeves are way too tight. Wish they had released this like the Piano man Legacy release (plastic CD holders not just a crappy card sleeve)

Otherwise a phenomenal set - hope Legacy doesn't take too long to announce their next release.

No idea - but i'll take anything Legacy want to put out on CD/Blu.

I like the idea of getting a documentary to cover the time period too, hope that trend continues.

Hope they consider the Nassau concert from 1982 next - some footage came out on Youtube sometime back (Untill the night) and it was fantastic.
