Light Box for 27 x 40 Movie Poster

I built one awhile back. There are plans online if you google it, but I just built it from scratch and kind of made it up as I went along. If you do go that route, you will still probably spend more than $100 on materials. You gotta remember that you'll need two sheets of plexi or glass as well as the lighting and then all the wood, hinges if you want to make it easily swapable, paint etc. It adds up quick which is why you probably won't find one for around $100, at least not a fullsized 27x40. Most people dont' realize just how big that really is especially when you usually add 5-8" to the outside all the way around of the poster for the frame.

That aside, they are very cool to have and make great conversation pieces.
