I was going to order with Base but as I hadn't registered with them I couldn't have been bothered going through the process.
I started filling out their forms and just got bored and clicked on amazon a couple of times and that was that....less typing is always worth 50 pence.

I've used them once or twice. They post earlier than Amazon (usually Tues-Thurs) but don't risk them for steelbooks as they usually just use a jiffy...bit risky (my copy of Halloween arrived intact though). Amazon are worth it though if you have Prime (I have a trial right now...sometimes if you order stuff whilst on the trial they keep the next day postage for some pre-orders).

That happened to me with Gravity,I received it on release day as my order was placed during my free trial.

I might switch it over to Base and give them a try.

Edit:I have just done so.
