Went to best buy to get it price matched and use a $5 trade in coupon. Amazon was $24.96 this morning but it jumped to $29.99 when I got there... I had taken a screen shot of the $24.96 do they honored it. Got it for $19.96. I don't think I've ever seen Amazon go up on price on release day like that.

I got it at Best Buy too. Did a $5 trade and save and got it for $24.99. Went by Costco afterwards for some other items, & I noticed they had tons of DVD copies of it, but not one BD copy. Weird.

The doc has gotten good reviews so I'm looking forward to it this weekend when I have a good 3 or 4 hours.

It's great. I caught it 3-4 weeks ago (on Showtime) & it was tremendous. They cover their ENTIRE career: the Good, the Bad, & the Ugly.

does the blu come with digital copy? iTunes has it for 9.99 but is only offering it in SD....

No. It is a 3 disc BD set though. Disc 1 = Part 1. Disc 2 = Part 2. Disc 3 is a concert (or part of a concert) from 1977. All 3 discs are Blu-rays.

If you purchase or own this title. Make sure to check that you get 3 Blu-ray discs. This is a 3 Blu-ray set. Some copies have a DVD mixed in there instead of a Blu-ray. The error is mentioned several times in the amazon reviews and a member of this forum has seen it as well.

Just as an aside to this release for those interested or fans of Miami Vice....there is a segment during the doc where Glenn's appearance is mentioned and they show a clip or two. This little segment shows how good Miami Vice could look if Universal got around to properly releasing it on blu
