Slightly surprised they're going for Hands of the Ripper first. I would have though Twins of Evil would get a UK blu ray before HotR.
They need to ditch the "Hammer Horror" from the cover.

I imagine it'll help as a selling point in store (whichever store that may be these days). I'd have thought Countess Dracula would have been the best starting point seeing as it hasn't had a release elsewhere so far and Synapse seem to be dragging it on a bit. Still, I haven't yet grabbed the Synapse HOTR so I'll hang on and throw my support in for Network providing they do it well. I have two Network BD's so far, both good quality and they have a fair amount of titles I'd like an upgrade of. Hopefully they're dipping their toes further in to BD.

FRANKENSTEIN & THE MONSTER FROM HELL is now listed at Zavvi and Moviemail, both stating bd + 2 dvds. Amazon still shows dvd only, but it'll change.

Also, not bd, but THE SHADOW OF THE CAT dvd is now listed on Amazon too.

I just watched the Australian blu-ray for MONSTER FROM HELL last night. The transfer is awsome.

Wonder how RIPPER will compare ot the US release.
