I had that happen with WBShop, but with no one else.

From my experience, Screen Archives tends to be on top of those matters.

But, let's keep spinning our wheels in here. It's very productive.
The difference is that Mulholland Drive hasn't been a "clue" or an official announcement or even an unofficial mention at a live event (unless you have another source that wasn't one guy on Bluray.com getting ahead of himself and posting wishful thinking as if it were confirmation).

If there is another source beyond that, I would love to see it. Using bad "blog reporting" as fact really is spinning our collective wheel.

Yeah, I sure felt the need to blank out some swears to drive my point home. You know, like a big boy.

My post was nothing but matter of fact (maybe just a little bit sleepy). Please stop trying to posture it into something other than just information.

So I take it you have no actual source?

I don't blank out swears, the site does it automatically. It's annoying, but you play by the house rules.

Who is posturing? Hell, I brought up two other releases that Criterion was supposed to have already put out by now, but nothing has come of it.

Did you read any of what came before the point that you decided to chime in?

Also, if you're going to fight with me...let's take it out of here.

Some kid has to ask when The Blob is available for pre-order for the 80th time.

It does and I feel bad that I got caught up in it.

Arguing online and all that memetic jazz.

And here I thought I was going to read comments from people discussing the new "Spring Slate" that Twilight Time announced…

Yojimbo's reply was funny. I was tempted to chime in. Otherwise, I agree, either ignore the bait comments, or if you must reply to them, don't stoop to that level but remain friendly or neutral instead. Easier said than done!

Yeah, I usually try to stay out of these things. It's one of the reasons I really don't post that often to begin with. It always seems like there's someone out there ready to pick a fight, argue about something, or just out to prove people wrong on everything.

When is the Blob going up for pre-order? I want to ***** and moan about how much it costs and the fact that it is limited to 3000 but I want to wait until closer to the actual release date before I do.

I can keep going but I realize this is not a good discussion, because yes no ones opinion is fact and I guarantee there are a handful of people on here who would argue the importance of a As Good As it Gets over a Mulholland Dr.

I'm just tired of waiting for it on Blu Ray with the directors approval.
I have no great love or loyalty towards either film truthfully, both are so-so to me though I much prefer Mulholland Dr than As Good As It Gets. The point I was making was that no film is too "important" when it comes to being released by Twilight Time. If a film such as The Way We Were that was phenomenally successful at the box office and entered the cultural zeitgeist is now "reduced" to being released in a limited edition 3000 run from Twilight Time, then don't think that it can't happen to Mulholland Dr. either.

Not exactly mainstream titles, but they do have their cult fan bases and look how they sold and all those other titles are still for sale for the most part.

"Mulholland Drive" would be gone in a matter of days likely, if that.
Absolutely, Mulholland Dr. has fantastic cult appeal and well sell very briskly if Twilight Time were to ever release it.
