Where to buy Face/Off? - Blu-ray Forum

I usually get all my Blus from Amazon, which ship most orders out on Mondays. For example, I got a confirmation email today saying that National Treasure was shipped out. Anyway, I ordered Face/Off from dvdempire.com and haven't recieved an email for shipment all day. I checked my account and it's status was "OPEN" so I cancelled. I'm trying my luck tomorrow at my local Best Buy... It's funny, this site and many others say the release date is May 20th and Amazon says its June 3rd.

Yeah, I think tomorrow (actually, today now) is the most uncertain I've been on the releases. I have no idea what to expect locally b/c of all the confusion on release dates, titles that were pulled reappearing, etc.

I don't think Amazon even has it for pr-order yet, there is no active link for it just the same placeholder that has been there since last July...

If you scroll down a bit and read the specs you'll see it says Release Date: June 3rd.

Buy.com has it listed in stock....walmart has a bunch of the rereleases (not blades of glory or face/off) listed in-stock....i think its going to be hit and miss with these titles....anyone know of any news concerning the rereleases...are they delayed or not....i wanna know

My Walmart didn't have it this morning. They had NO new releases on Blu. Of course there were 4 employees sitting around doing nothing with a bunch of boxes waiting to be unpacked...hmm. They lost my business.

Walmart $19.99. Not with the new releases they are with the catalog BDs. If your walmart has such an isle. They just set one up in my local store with their new Magnavox player right in the middle of the isle.

My Wal Mart went from 2/3 of a shelf bin to 3 full ones this week! They had all of the Paramount catalog titles at $19.99 each. I picked up Face/Off and Shooter.

Why would walmart sell a new blu-ray release for $20? I thought there were about $25 and up. Either way I'm screwed because no walmarts in the area have them.

Why wouldn't they? They're starting to sell more and more catalog titles, and if Blu-Ray will ever go mainstream, catalog titles have to become more affordable. All of the catalog Paramount titles I saw were $19.99, they had some old Lionsgate titles for $14.99 and some older Fox titles for $19.99.

Man, I wish. My Wal-mart has more copies of No Reservations HD-DVD than any of there Blu titles. Isnt Shooter re-release a 6/3 title?

I saw that, was just curious if it was put out early at his or was supposed to be out. My Wal-mart had a placeholder for it but no copies, and no signs of it being out at BB or Target (which is where they had Face Off, BOG, Four Brothers, and all the other re-releases). Guess they just didnt order that one. Thanks for clarifying.
