I guess I read Vic Beasley like I read Shaq Lawson not Anthony. I feel a little better about it now.

Weed or missing work outs or maybe missing classes. I'm sure it will come out before long. It's a small town with inquiring minds.

It hasn't been killed and it will be voted on tomorrow, but I would be surprised if it passes. The only way the Rules Oversight Committee can change a rule in a non-rule year (this is a non-rule year) is if it's for safety reasons, and there's absolutely no evidence that this rule would make the game any safer.

Chris Fowler has signed a new 9-year deal with ESPN that will have him remaining the host of College Gameday, doing play-by-play alongside Kirk Herbstreit on Saturday Night Football, and calling both a playoff semifinal game and the national title game. He will also continue to host and call tennis majors.

Brent Musberger, who had worked alongside Herbstreit, has been demoted and will now call SEC Network games alongside Jesse Palmer.
