I guess technically it's $150 dollars more MSRP, but it's only a $10 difference between the two with the discount amazon.com has.

yours & the next step up

Yeah, I deleted my post after I saw that. I went with the step down because I wanted it to not be noticable in my setup. I don't like the ones that you can see the numbers.

That's the thing too. I'm not exactly sure where I'm gonna put it... it's all so complicated . Why is everything so expensive?

It's not huge, but it is not exactly small either. Make sure you have room behind it for all the plugs going into it. While I don't buy Monster cables...anymore...they do make a good power center, imo. The only thing I find complicating is the difference between a UPS and a conditioner. Is there a difference?

I think a UPS will work like a back-up power supply if the power goes out, it will keep your units running. (the UPS has to be really expensive though) A conditioner just gets rid of the noise in the electrical lines or something. But then, there's something in between. This might be it.

It says it

* Uses 1200VA/640W batteries to provide up to 40 minutes of battery backup power and ensure that memory, settings, or recordings are not lost during power outages

I believe you are right on! I am recommending a conditioner to you and you are looking for a ups.

I think you found a happy medium with that Belkin. Go for it!

Well Jon S put me on the right path as well as that other fellow who's name escapes me. I think the Belkin will do just fine. It's just a matter of attaining the funds....

the program isn't on your list. it's not the best football movie of all time, but it's pretty good.

You know when LL Cool J was interviewed about this film. They asked him what it was like, you know, actually playing football and gettin' hit HARD.
He told the him, "it was like running through a kitchen blind, full-speed, and naked."

That sounds excruciatingly painful.
