You should rent this before you buy. I'm about half way through the DVD, and I'm not too impressed.

i bought it on SD, it was only 15 bucks or whatever but ill endup getting it on blu aswell

watched it last night and thought the movie was great. had the classic feel of Romero's older Dead movies. I can't wait for it on blu-ray and hope other Dimension Extreme movies start coming out on blu-ray.

here's my ranking:

#1 Dawn of the Dead (1978)
#2 Night of the Living Dead (the original, untouched, 1968 B&W classic)
#3 Dawn of the Dead (2004)
#4 Day of the Dead (1985)
#5 Night of the Living Dead (1990)
#6 Diary of the Dead
and then I just pretend the others don't exist

No, I rented. I have to wait for my daughter to take a nap before I can watch the rest.

But as a fan of Romero's previous "Dead" movies, I'm not too impressed so far.

I can't wait for this to come out on blu.

As far as Romero's Dead films go i would rate them as

Day, Dawn, Night, Diary and Land

Day first? Not for me. I would rate them as

Dawn, Day, Land, Night.....Have not seen Diary yet.

Sorry, I don't like black and white movies......

I am having a hard time resisting a DVD purchase on this title, even though I swore to myself it would only be blus from now on (since American Gangster came out on DVD). Must...see....Diary!
