Would've been better off drafting one... Even in the 2nd round there will be guys likely better than Decker.
Who says they won't

It's a good contract because it makes our team better. Hands down! And in reality it's a cap friendly contract from several aspects. I like the signing because he's not making elite money. It's not like we handed out a Mike Wallace type contract....

The NFL has banned players from dunking the ball over the goal post. Doing so will now result in a penalty. I'm not surprised after Jimmy Graham caused a delay when he bent the goal post dunking the ball. It's also possible that if the NFL makes the goal posts 5 feet taller then the goal posts would be less stable and thus more susceptible to being bent by players dunking the ball.

Cuban couldn't afford one? Or at least be majority owner?

Kroenke had to transfer ownership of the Nuggets and Avalanche to his son when he became the Rams majority owner. In reality Kroenke probably still runs all the teams and the NFL could have told him that if he wanted to own the Rams he'd have to sell the other teams, but the NFL wanted Kroenke (and his Wal-Mart heir wife) as owners so they didn't object to the transfer of ownership. I don't think they'd make the same concessions if Cuban tried to buy an NFL team and offer to have it (or the Mavs) in his wife's name.

It's been long known that the team would be sold once Wilson passed away so it'll be interesting to see who buys the Bills. They've got a lease with Buffalo through 2023, although they can buy their way out of the lease following the 2020 season for $28.4 million, so it's not a case where the new owner could buy the team and then immediately try and move the team to LA.

Sucks that the old time owners are dying off. Davis, Adams, Wilson. (even Ford I guess)

They were mostly a different breed from the rest of the owners.

Not a good day for Bills fans between Mr. Wilson's passing and Jim Kelly's cancer news. I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Such a sad day for this lifetime Bills fan (back to the glory days of Jack Kemp, Cookie Gilchrist etc...). RIP Mr. Wilson & BEAT CANCER Jim Kelly. And please sell to someone who won't move the team.

Mark Cuban is probably laughing right now. I still think he's wrong, but the NFL is trying hard to prove him right.

That's true, but most of them seem to run their franchises into the ground in their later years. I'm sure Cowboys fans won't be too sad when Jerry bites the dust.

This is actually a good time for Mr. Wilson to pass away regarding our lease. The Bills won't be moving anytime soon. It helps that the NFL really wants us to stay in Western New York because we are the link to Canada that the NFL seems to care so much about.

Little will change when Jerry Jones dies. His son Stephen will just take over the team and likely take the GM role. Jerry has been grooming him to be his eventual successor.

Wow, didn't expect this:

Quote:
Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with DE Jared Allen on a four-year contract.

Andrew Brandt ‏@adbrandt
Allen to receive $32M over four years, with $15.5M guaranteed, per @MikeGarafolo. Translation: contract is 2 years, $15.5 million.
