it's yellow on the back, yellow on the front and they slapped a pic from the movie on the front. Probably took them about 1 minute to put together, and that for a big Oscar nominated release that a lot of people want to pick up. yeah it's that bad.

So then it's confirmed we got the same one? I know it was 99% likely since it's Paramount on both sides of the border, but I was keeping up a little hope we'd get something different.

Edit: Nevermind, just saw the posts from the last page. Disappointing but I'll probably still go with it.

They won't be released until May 21st. I have used the Czech website http://www.filmarena.cz/ with great success. Their steelbook packaging is outstanding.

are the Czech discs region locked? how expensive is shipping to the US (generally)?

Not that I know of. Are you using a Google chrome? If not install it and use that since it translates entires pages for you.

Not sure if I want to spend that much for just the steelbook since I already own the movie, but man is it nice!

Every disc is different as to whether or not they are region locked. I have a region free player, so it's never something that I look into very much. The shipping I would call about average for something being shipped from Eastern Europe. Someone already posted the prices for it for including shipping, right about $45. Shipping took about two weeks for me, and my steelbooks were wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap with lots of tape. It took me some time to untangle them, but I don't mind that one bit knowing I am getting an undamaged steelbook.

The only complaint I have about this site is that they don't have an English friendly version of it. You have to use Google Translate unless you speak Czech.

it helps a great deal, thank you! even if i do not jump on this, it is nice to have a little more knowledge and another option. everything sounds great....but maybe the cost AND the possibility that i can't play it. i really should make the region free move already, but i am looking at purchasing some new headphones and laptop at the moment and i do not even need the excuse to find more movies i want....

that said, there are several titles i may be interested in. does the shipping get "better" or "worse" with more titles? that 47 ronin is calling my name...

I asked someone to help me look up the walmart item # and they said 0 in store and it doesnt exist.

Was this an online only release? Because i know some of you mentioned you picked it up in store but i am having trouble finding it.

Even online it says sold out and store availability is non existent.

I don't know about other stores, but I walked into mine, and there it was, front and centre.

There should be a large standee display and the SteelBooks are stacked right down the middle.

Where are you guys located? Was the shelf literally at the front of the store or the front of the Entertainment section?

There are two Walmart item numbers for the steelbook that you could get a store associate to look up. The one in the flyer is 30903120. The other one from the website is 30910756.

The Wolf of Wall Street display stand is near the main entrance at most stores. I had a similar problem asking an electronics associate. Some of the electronics staff had no clue the steelbooks were up front by the entrance.
