So now that a pretty definitive "NO" has been stamped down on anything Phantasm... I'm with dsman71; Pumpkinhead is the probable announcement. It might not be the biggest title out there, but it's certainly one of Scream Factory's most requested titles and they haven't been commenting at all on it's inquiries.

It would also be a "surprise", because we know Scream's saw plenty of requests (most being commented on that Twilight Time got it (even though we don't know for sure).
So since quite a few people assumed that Twilight Time got the rights, and Scream knew that was the mindset of some of the fans, I'd say Pumpkinhead could be considered a surprise.

Plus, according to that poll, isn't Pumpkinhead the 2nd most requested? (on the poll, not in general necessarily)

Thanks for acknowledgement, and that is one of the reasons why I made the poll, to be "in general", if enough people voted, then this would be the norm. Anyway I Don't know what scream will announce, but I only know of two things, One, I will buy it, and two it will be awesome

They also wouldn't comment on mine or others "Poltergeist III" guess.

Warner only has the first. The second and third are MGM.

Two movies I'd like to see Scream Factory release are Sorority House Massacre 2 (Naughty Nightmare) and Hard to Die (Sorority House Massacre 3).

I was watching part of Hard to Die recently and figured there couldn't be a worse movie -- but in the good way. Nothing like a fight between a possessed woman in lingerie shooting a machine gun at other girls in lingerie.

Sorry if these are off limits to Scream. Just thought I'd take a shot; I have no idea who maintains these rights now.

Off limits to Scream, but Scorpion probably can release them.

Interesting thanks !
SF could actually license those if they are offered the two films or if they can some titles.. I still don't think either one will be coming anytime soon, but maybe at some point. I guess it depends on interest

The second is already out in a bare bones edition.

That'd be a surprise, especially if they were able to get any participants to talk about it.

All I want is for the titles to be announced are good classic titles that deserve a blu-ray release.

I'd hate to see Scream Factore defile their brand with the filth that is Pumpkinhead; what a total waste of a potentially cool "villian."

In my opinion any Godzilla would be out of place with Scream Factory trademark.

Really curious to see what develops.

So guys whats the Scream!/Shout! title that was only released on DVD you think should have a blu-ray release?

For me I think The Exterminator 2 should have had a blu-ray release. Think it would have sold good since the first one is also out on blu-ray. Also The Outing should have had a blu release.

If there were usable film elements, easily The Outing or Cellar Dweller.

Godzilla would like to have a word with you, so would Pumpkinhead. I feel the majority of fans like the first Pumpkinhead film... and I feel that Godzilla 1985 would make a great release for the studio however it is not coming from anyone this year..

Godzilla 1985 came out in the US from New World Pictures, whoever's got them now.
Sony US's hold on Godzilla didn't start until the early 90's, just between the purchase of Columbia and a good few years before the '97 movie started its long pre-production limbo, so every new-generation GZ before King Ghidorah is up in the air in the US.
(Which explains why another studio got Biolante.)

It's technically possible, but not likely.
