It was Twilight Time that decided to have the sale, not SAE.

They are still married as business partners. One's failure is shared by the other in the customers eye. SAE should have had all those older titles in stock, as they were not selling, hence the sale. There is no winter storm keeping them away from work this time. These titles should be on hand, if not, then TT did not send them to SAE in a timely manner, which concludes it's TT's fault, no?

I said that they should have been in stock, ready to ship. If that is the case, then it is SAE's fault. If they do not have them at the warehouse, then it is solely on TT. Frankly, either case it's still TT's fault, as they use SAE as their distributor. If they cannot ship out titles in a timely manner, then TT needs to find someone else, or SAE should be refunding the shipping back to the customer.
Frankly, defending either of them is pointless, as their combined lack of care for the paying customer is obvious. Some people have not received their orders for a month+ now!! It's funny how people ***** about the eco-cases, so they change them. People have been complaining about their shipping habits for months now, yet it remains the same situation.... |

I've put in a handful of orders with ScreenArchives over the last year or two (always for Twilight Time) - and I've never had an issue with their delivery. Quite the contrary, they take the time to always send in a box (most likely packaged by hand), with the foam peanuts, etc. I never thought the time they took to deliver was out of the ordinary. Plus I feel like for regular blu-rays the foam peanuts are overkill, yet I wish other retailers would take note when they send out more fragile items. ![]() Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe it had to do with the timing (the last order I actually received from them was about a month ago). I did just put in an order with the sale, and threw in some pre-orders. So we'll see how that goes through... |

The order he's talking about was an order that included preorders for films released last week. It is bad that they haven't been shipped yet, but it's been a week, not a month.

No. Shipping was staggered due to the need of non eco cases (Infiniti ?). They started shipping some of the new releases 3 or 4 days later than release date due to this. This is what I was alluding to earlier, as TT possibly being the problem. He's just speculating, but if this is the case and SAE does not have the titles that were on sale, on hand, then there may be a longer wait. Again, why have a sale on titles that potentially may not even be at SAE??
