Every PG-13 horror cliche stuffed into one trailer.

That's a double negative. So, you will be seeing it?

Olivia Cooke (Emma from the A&E series Bates Motel) is in this, so I'm kinda interested in seeing this. I probably won't see it when it's in theaters, but I'll definitely rent it when it comes out.

I'm very, very cautious about PG-13 horror. I mean, forget the violence or nudity (Oh, the 80s!), you can only use one F word.

That's limiting on almost every level.

Because various F words makes a film automatically better

Not at all.

But one has said, by making the film PG-13:

No (sexual) nudity.

No real violence.

No cursing.

At that point, you sort of have limited yourself, when it comes to a horror flick. Believe me, I'm not saying it can't be done. It definitely can. But I know that if I see a big bug (I have a real phobia concerning bugs) I will often utter something like, "Jesus F****** Christ!"

If someone were coming at me with an axe, or a an actual ghost showed up in my house, I'm pretty sure that my expressions would be at least as extreme.

The only time to worry about a horror movie being PG-13 is if it's a slasher. Like a supernatural horror movie really needs extreme violence, nudity, and cussing to be good? The Ring and the first Insidious are great and they're PG-13. I also loved What Lies Beneath. There's nothing wrong with a movie like this one being PG-13.

That being said I think this looks pretty entertaining and I really like Olivia Cooke on Bates Motel. But I'm way more excited to see Oculus. That's a must in theaters, while this is one I'll see if I get around to it. Otherwise for sure on Blu-ray.

Yeah, I have to admit I am sorta excited about "Oculus."

Then again, I have a massive crush on Karen Gillan. Though why did they have to give her an American accent?! Her Scottish accent is one of her sexiest elements!

Gee, that's terrible. They might have to rely on a good story.

I'm not defending THIS film -- I don't know (or care) anything about it, but that kind of comment is ridiculous to me. I'll take a well-written, involving horror film with strong characters and a frightening/suspenseful story any day. And none of that requires nudity, violence or profanity.

Just talent.

One of the two horror movies being released in April will be great. That seems to be Oculus. Advanced reviews are great. It will be this spring's Insidious, IMO. That leaves this to be bad or mediocre, but it still looks fun so I'm interested.

I'm interested in Oculus (not least for Karen too ) but I'm not getting my hopes up too high.

Do the reviews do nothing to interest you?

I know it's only at 7 reviews, but wow Oculus with 100% so far. I wonder how much it will dip down?
